In order to optimize tire management, the SPR-System is accompanied by all supporting services and is available logistically close to the mining sites, leading to high efficiency and best performance, safety, and service in tire management. Almost 50 years of experience in OTR tire management guarantee tailor made solutions that truly meet the expectations of the mining industry, including full OTR tire turn-key-projects, comprehensive training, staff development programs and total management systems.
Investment amortization periods of 1.5 to 2.5 years for such turn-key projects help the mining industry create an independent in-house supply of OTR tires. There are now eight Schelkmann factories in Germany, Australia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan and coming up in 2009 in Kazakhstan and Russia. Further facilities are due to be built in the near future. All this makes Schelkmann a global technology leader in the field of OTR tire retreading and management.
